This album will in future be turned into a solo album. It has been created to honour the many requests for an album just of the hang. If you are looking more for what is the typical samjjana sound with all the instruments and vocals, explore 'Follow your Bliss.'

In 'Peace Within' Maia plays as the hang calls her to play. Having never set an intention to compose, she simply remains present with the hang, listening and improvising… and melodies spontaneously arise. If they stay, they are given names. Recognisable melodies are still subject to improvisation. These form the bulk of this album.

While primarily the flute player in the samjjana duo, Pratika-Sahayak also plays the hang and offers two tracks on this album. Maia and Pratika-Sahayak also play the hang together.

While this album is instrumental, a number of tracks have lyrics. Beyond the quiet reverie of simply listening, the invitation is to add your voice if you feel inspired to, whether you know the words or not.

Maia and the harp have sweet conversations, and delight in sharing some of these with you on the bonus EP.
