This member of our family of musical instruments is very special - it is magic on its own and also when played with the hang and D drone flute (we had the sansula tuned to suit both instruments) and the Raagini (digital tanpura).

The sansula is an African kalimba that has been mounted on a drum head by some inspired and creative souls in Germany. It creates a whole new sound which is very much in line with the sort of music we love to create, and that speaks to the silence between the sounds.
